Say: My Lord! If Thou shouldst show me that which they are promised. 93 exclude me from the unjust people". 94 Surely We are able to show you what We warn them against. 95 Repel evil with that which is better. We know that which they describe. 96 And say: 'O my Lord, I take refuge in Thee from the evil suggestions of the Satans, 97 And I seek refuge in Thee! O my Lord! from their presence. 98 Until, when death comes to one of them he says: 'My Lord, let me go back, 99 so that I may do good works in the world I have left behind." Never! It is indeed but a meaningless word that he utters. A barrier shall stand behind such people till the Day they are raised up again. 100 Then, when the Trumpet is blown, there will be no kinship among them that Day, nor will they ask of one another. 101 Those whose scales are heavy shall prosper, 102 But those whose scales are light - those are the ones who have lost their souls, [being] in Hell, abiding eternally. 103 The Fire will burn their faces, and therein they will grin, with displaced lips (disfigured). 104 "Were not My Signs rehearsed to you, and ye did but treat them as falsehood?" 105 They will say: "O Lord, our misery overwhelmed us, so we remained a people astray. 106 O our Lord! take us forth from it; then if we return, we shall be wrong-doers indeed. 107 He (Allah) will say: "Remain you in it with ignominy! And speak you not to Me!" 108 Verily there was a party of My bondmen who said: our Lord! we have believed, wherefore forgive us and have mercy upon us, and Thou art the Best of the merciful ones! 109 “So you took them for a mockery until your mocking at them made you forget My remembrance, and you used to laugh at them!” 110 Today I shall recompense them for their patience, for it is they that have won. 111 [And] He will ask [the doomed]: "What number of years have you spent on earth?" 112 They will say: "We stayed a day or part of a day: but ask those who keep account." 113 He will say: "Ye stayed not but a little,- if ye had only known! 114 What, did you think that We created you only for sport, and that you would not be returned to Us?' 115 Then, exalted be God, the true King, there is no deity except Him, the Lord of the Glorious Throne. 116 Whosoever calls upon another god, other than Allah, having no proof his reckoning will be with his Lord. The unbelievers shall never prosper. 117 And say: 'My Lord, forgive and have mercy, for You are the Best of the merciful' 118
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
