The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful

THE STARTLING CALAMITY. 1 How awesome the sudden calamity! 2 And what can make you know what is the Striking Calamity? 3 The day on which men shall be as scattered moths, 4 and the mountains will be like fluffy tufts of wool.... 5 Then, the one whose good deeds weigh heavy on the scales, 6 shall live in a life which is pleasing, 7 But as for him whose deeds are light on the scales, 8 shall plunge in the womb of the Pit. 9 And what will explain to thee what this is? 10 It is the scorching fire. 11

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
