The prople of Lout (Lot) (those dwelt in the towns of Sodom in Palestine) belied the Messengers. 160 When their brother Lot said to them, "Will you not fear Allah? 161 Indeed, I am to you a trustworthy messenger. 162 So fear Allah, and obey me. 163 And I ask of you no hire therefor; my hire is but with the Lord of the worlds. 164 Do you approach males among the worlds 165 And leave ye your spouses your Lord hath created for you? Aye! ye are a people trespassing. 166 They said: "If you cease not. O Lout (Lot)! Verily, you will be one of those who are driven out!" 167 He said: "I am, indeed, of those who disapprove with severe anger and fury your (this evil) action (of sodomy). 168 “My Lord, rescue me and my family from their deeds.” 169 So We saved him and his household, every one, 170 all but an old woman, who was among those that stayed behind; 171 then We destroyed the others. 172 and We rained on them a rain; and evil is the rain of them that are warned. 173 Surely there is a Sign in this, but most of them would not believe. 174 And indeed, your Lord - He is the Exalted in Might, the Merciful. 175
