Say: 'O my Lord, if Thou shouldst show me that they are promised, 93 "Then, O my Lord! put me not amongst the people who do wrong!" 94 We certainly have the power to show you what they have been warned about. 95 Respond to the injustice (done to you) with the better deed. We know best what they attribute to God. 96 Say: "My Lord, I seek refuge in You from the evil promptings of the devils. 97 I seek refuge in You lest they come to me." 98 When death comes to any of them, he says, "My Lord, send me back 99 That I may work righteously in that which I have left. By no means! It is but a word he uttereth; and before them is a barrier until the Day when they shall be raised. 100 When the trumpet is blown, on that Day there will be no ties of relationship between them; neither will they ask about one another: 101 It will be an Hour when those whose scales are heavy, they alone will attain success; 102 And he whose balances shall be light - these are they who have lost themselves; in Hell they are abiders. 103 The fire will scorch their faces and they will be groaning therein in pain. 104 Have not My revelations been rehearsed unto you, and them ye have been belying? 105 They shall say: O our Lord! our adversity overcame us and we were an erring people: 106 Our Lord! Oh, bring us forth from hence! If we return (to evil) then indeed we shall be wrong-doers. 107 He will say: "Be ye driven into it (with ignominy)! And speak ye not to Me! 108 Surely there was a party of My servants who said: O our Lord! we believe, so do Thou forgive us and have mercy on us, and Thou art the best of the Merciful ones. 109 "You mocked and laughed at them until you forgot all about Me. 110 I have rewarded them this day for they were constant, and they have come to attainment." 111 [Allah] will say, "How long did you remain on earth in number of years?" 112 They will say: "We stayed a day or part of a day: but ask those who keep account." 113 [Whereupon] He will say: "You have spent there but a short while: had you but known [how short it was to be]! 114 "Did you think that We had created you in play (without any purpose), and that you would not be brought back to Us?" 115 Exalted then be God, the King, the Real. There is no god but He, the Lord of the glorious throne. 116 Whosoever calls upon another god, other than Allah, having no proof his reckoning will be with his Lord. The unbelievers shall never prosper. 117 And say: O my Lord! forgive and have mercy, and Thou art the best of the Merciful ones. 118
