The people of Noah denied the messengers 105 when their brother Noah said to them, 'Will you not be godfearing? 106 Indeed, I am to you a trustworthy messenger. 107 So keep your duty to Allah, and obey me. 108 I ask no payment from you for my preaching. The Lord of the Universe will give me my reward. 109 So keep your duty to Allah, and obey me. 110 ۞ They said, "Should we believe you while you are followed by the lowest [class of people]?" 111 He said: "It is not for me to know what they were doing. 112 Their reckoning is upon my Lord, if ye but knew. 113 And I am not (here) to repulse believers. 114 I am only a plain warner. 115 They said, "Noah, if you do not desist, you will, certainly, be stoned to death." 116 [Whereupon] he prayed: "O my Sustainer! Behold, my people have given me the lie: 117 therefore, judge decisively between me and them; and save me and the believers who are with me." 118 And so We saved him and those [who were] with him in the fully-laden ark, 119 Then We drowned the rest (disbelievers) thereafter. 120 Verily there is a sign in this, yet many of them do not believe. 121 But surely your Lord is mighty and merciful. 122
