Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
Ya'. Sin. 1 By the Quran, full of wisdom, 2 You (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) are indeed one of the Noble Messengers. 3 On a Straight Path (i.e. on Allah's religion of Islamic Monotheism). 4 A revelation of the Mighty, the Merciful. 5 so that you may warn a people who are unaware because their fathers were not warned. 6 The Word is proved true against the greater part of them: for they do not believe. 7 We have put yokes round their necks right up to their chins, so that they cannot bow their heads 8 We have set a barrier before them and a barrier behind them, and, We have covered them so that they do not see. 9 Whether thou warn them or thou warn them not, it is alike for them, for they believe not. 10 You can warn only him who follows the Admonition and fears the Merciful Lord without seeing Him. Give such a one good tidings of forgiveness and a generous reward. 11 Verily We! We shall quicken the dead. And We write down that which they send before and their footsteps. And everything We have counted up in a Book luminous. 12
