۞ O men, it is you who stand in need of God. As for God, He is above all need, worthy of praise. 15 If He so wills, He can do away with you and bring forth a new mankind [in your stead]: 16 That is not a hard thing for Allah. 17 No burden-bearer shall bear another's burden, and if some over-laden soul should call out for someone else to carry his load, not the least portion of it will be borne for him, even though he were a near relative. You can only warn those who fear their Lord in the unseen, and pray regularly. Anyone who purifies himself will benefit greatly from doing so. To God all shall return. 18 The blind and the seeing are not alike, 19 nor darkness and light; 20 Nor the shade and the heat, 21 nor are the living and the dead alike. Allah makes to hear whomsoever He wishes, but you, (O Prophet), cannot cause to hear those who are in their graves. 22 Thou art no other than a warner. 23 Lo! We have sent thee with the Truth, a bearer of glad tidings and a warner; and there is not a nation but a warner hath passed among them. 24 If they reject you, (know that) others who lived before them had also rejected their Messengers, Messengers who had brought them miracles, scriptures, and the enlightening Book 25 Then seized I those who disbelieved, and how intense was My abhorrence! 26
