My devotees! no fear shall be on you that Day, nor shall ye grieve,- 68 even those who believed in Our signs, and had surrendered themselves 69 Enter the garden, you and your wives; you shall be made happy. 70 To them will be passed large platters and cups of gold. There will be all that souls desire and all that eyes delight in. (And it will be said:) 'There you shall live for ever. 71 for such will be the paradise which you shall have inherited by virtue of your past deeds: 72 Therein you have abundant fruits, whereof you may eat.' 73 But the evildoers dwell forever in the chastisement of Gehenna 74 which will not be lightened for them, and therein they shall be silent. 75 We wronged them not, but they were the Zalimun (polytheists, wrong-doers, etc.). 76 And they will cry: "O thou [angel] who rulest [over hell]! Let thy Sustainer put an end to us!" [whereupon] he will reply: "Verily, you must live on [in this state] 77 We brought you the Truth; but to the truth most of you were averse.” 78 Do they assume that they have made their work thorough? So We shall make Our work thorough. 79 Or do they think We do not hear their secrecies and stealthy consultations? In fact, Our messengers who attend them record everything. 80 Say: 'If the All-merciful has a son, then I am the first to serve him. 81 Hallowed be the Lord of the heavens and the earth, the Lord of the Throne, from that which they ascribe! 82 Therefore leave them to utter vile speech and to play, until they confront the day which they are promised. 83 He is God in heaven and God on earth, and He is all-wise and all-knowing. 84 Glory be to Him, to whom belongs the Kingdom of the heavens and the earth and all that between them is; with Him is the knowledge of the Hour, and to Him you shall be returned. 85 And those whom they invoke besides Allah have no power of intercession;- only he who bears witness to the Truth, and they know (him). 86 (Muhammad), if you ask them, "Who had created the idols?" They will certainly say, "God has created them." Why do you then turn away from God? 87 We call to witness the cry of the Messenger: “O Lord, these are a people not wont to believe!” 88 Then bear with them (O Muhammad) and say: Peace. But they will come to know. 89
