Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
By (the angels) sent forth with the commands of God, 1 And those that strike violently, 2 Then by oath of those that lift and carry. 3 And the scattering winds scattering. 4 by those who bring down the reminder, 5 To end all argument or to warn. 6 Most surely what you are threatened with must come to pass. 7 When the stars lose their light, 8 and when the sky is rent asunder 9 And when the mountains are carried away as dust, 10 and when all the apostles are called together at a time appointed... 11 For what Day was it postponed? 12 The Day of Judgement. 13 What will explain to you what the Day of Judgement is? 14 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 15 Did We not destroy the earlier people? 16 And We shall cause those of later times to follow them. 17 Thus do We deal with the guilty. 18 On that day, woe upon those who have rejected God's revelations! 19 Did We not create you from a base fluid 20 which We then placed in a secure repository 21 For a certain appointed time, 22 Thus did We Plan and how excellent is Our planning! 23 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 24 Did We not make the earth a storehouse? 25 The living and the dead, 26 And placed therein high mountains and given you to drink sweet water therein? 27 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 28 (It will be said to the disbelievers): "Depart you to that which you used to deny! 29 Depart unto the shadow falling threefold, 30 "Neither shading, nor of any use against the fierce flame of the Fire." 31 Verily! It (Hell) throws sparks (huge) as Al-Qasr [a fort or a Qasr (huge log of wood)], 32 like giant fiery ropes! 33 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 34 This is the day on which they shall not speak, 35 nor shall they be permitted to offer excuses. 36 Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth! 37 That is the Day of Judgement on which We have assembled you as well as all those who went before you. 38 So if you have a plan, plan against Me (now). 39 Woe on the day unto the beliers! 40
