Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
Ya-Sin. [These letters are one of the miracles of the Quran, and none but Allah (Alone) knows their meanings.] 1 By oath of the wise Qur’an. 2 Truly, you (O Muhammad SAW) are one of the Messengers, 3 upon a Straight Path. 4 The sending down of the Mighty, the Most Merciful 5 so that you may warn a people whose fathers were not warned and so they are unaware. 6 The sentence is surely justified against most of them, for they do not believe. 7 We have enchained their necks up to their chins. Thus, they cannot bend their heads (to find their way). 8 And We have put before them a barrier and behind them a barrier and covered them, so they do not see. 9 It is the same to them whether you warn them or you warn them not, they will not believe. 10 Thou only warnest him who follows the Remembrance and who fears the All-merciful in the Unseen; so give him the good tidings of forgiveness and a generous wage. 11 Verily, We give life to the dead, and We record that which they send before (them), and their traces [their footsteps and walking on the earth with their legs to the mosques for the five compulsory congregational prayers, Jihad (holy fighting in Allah's Cause) and all other good and evil they did, and that which they leave behind], and all things We have recorded with numbers (as a record) in a Clear Book. 12
