In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
Hast thou not seen how thy Lord dealt with the owners of the Elephant? 1 Did He not bring their plan to naught? 2 And He sent against them swarms of birds 3 which smote them with stone-hard blows of chastisement pre-ordained, 4 And made them like an empty field of stalks (of which the corn has been eaten up by cattle). 5
