And the dwellers of the Rock certainly rejected the apostles; 80 We brought them Our signs, and they turned away from them. 81 And they were hewing out houses from mountains feeling secure. 82 But the (mighty) Blast seized them of a morning, 83 And all that which they used to earn availed them not. 84 We created not the heavens, the earth, and all between them, but for just ends. And the Hour is surely coming (when this will be manifest). So overlook (any human faults) with gracious forgiveness. 85 Verify thy Lord! He is the Great Creator, the Knower. 86 We have given thee seven of the oft-repeated (verses) and the great Qur'an. 87 So covet not things We have bestowed on a portion of them to enjoy, and do not grieve for them, and protect those who believe; 88 And say: "I am indeed a plain warner." 89 As We have sent down on the dividers, (Quraish pagans or Jews and Christians). 90 Those who break the Qur'an into parts. 91 So by your Lord, We will surely question them all 92 for whatever they have done! 93 Therefore declare openly what you are bidden and turn aside from the polytheists. 94 We suffice thee against the mockers, 95 Those who ascribe another God along with Allah; so they will soon come to know. 96 And assuredly We know that thou straitenest thy breast by that which they say. 97 But celebrate the praises of thy Lord, and be of those who prostrate themselves in adoration. 98 And worship your Lord until there comes to you the certainty (death). 99
