Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
By those [winds] sent forth in gusts 1 storming tempestuously 2 by the scatterers scattering 3 Then separate them one from another, 4 And then by those that instil Remembrance into the hearts. 5 excusing or warning, 6 surely that which you are promised is about to fall! 7 When the stars lose their light, 8 The heavens split asunder, 9 And when the mountains are blown away, 10 And when the apostles are collected at the appointed time, 11 For what Day are these (portents) deferred? 12 To the Day of Judgement. 13 Would that you knew what the Day of Decision is! 14 On that day, woe will be to those who have rejected God's revelations! 15 Did We not destroy the ancients? 16 So shall We make later (generations) follow them. 17 thus do We deal with the culprits. 18 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 19 Did We not create you from a liquid disdained? 20 Then We placed it in a secure resting-place, 21 until an appointed time? 22 We determined; excellent determiners are We. 23 Woe on that day unto the beliers! 24 Have We not made the earth (as a place) to draw together. 25 the living and the dead? 26 And We placed therein lofty, firmly set mountains and have given you to drink sweet water. 27 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 28 Walk on to that which you called a lie. 29 Proceed to that shadow, rising in three columns 30 "Neither shading, nor of any use against the fierce flame of the Fire." 31 Verily it shall cast forth sparks like unto a castle. 32 like giant fiery ropes! 33 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 34 This is a Day they will not speak, 35 Nor given leave to make excuses. 36 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 37 That is the Day of Judgement on which We have assembled you as well as all those who went before you. 38 If now ye have any wit, outwit Me. 39 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 40
