▼ 55 The All Compassionate
Al-Rahman 2 of 3
Everyone on it must pass away. 26 And there will remain the Face of your Lord, Owner of Majesty and Honor. 27 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 28 All those who are in the heavens and the earth seek only from Him; every day is an enterprise for Him. 29 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 30 Soon We shall attend to you -- two big groups [of jinn and mankind]. 31 (We shall then see), which of the favours of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 32 O assembly of the jinn and the men! If you are able to pass through the regions of the heavens and the earth, then pass through; you cannot pass through but with authority. 33 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 34 Let loose at you will be smokeless flames of fire so that you will not be able to defend yourselves. 35 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 36 And when heaven is split asunder, and turns crimson like red leather -- 37 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 38 On that day no sinner will be questioned about his sins, from men or from jinns. 39 (We shall see) which of the favours of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 40 The sinners shall be known by their mark, they shall be seized by their forelocks and their feet. 41 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 42 This is hell, which the criminals deny. 43 In its midst and in the midst of boiling hot water will they wander round! 44 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 45
