We have made the heavens with Our own hands and We expanded it. 47 And the earth -- We spread it forth; O excellent Smoothers! 48 And of every thing We have created pairs, that haply ye may remember. 49 Hasten ye then (at once) to Allah: I am from Him a Warner to you, clear and open! 50 And set not up (or worship) any other ilahan (god) along with Allah [Glorified be He (Alone), Exalted above all that they associate as partners with Him]. Verily, I (Muhammad SAW) am a plain warner to you from Him. 51 Even thus no apostle came to those before them but they said: "He is a sorcerer or a mad man." 52 Have they inherited such dealings with the Prophets from their predecessors or are they a rebellious people? 53 So withdraw from them (O Muhammad), for thou art in no wise blameworthy, 54 And remind, for indeed, the reminder benefits the believers. 55 I have only created Jinns and men, that they may serve Me. 56 I do not ask any sustenance from them, nor wish that they give Me food. 57 Surely, Allah is the Provider, the Possessor of Power, the Mighty. 58 The wrong-doers shall receive a portion of the chastisements as their fellows (of yore). So let them not rush Me. 59 So ruin is for disbelievers, from their day which they are promised. 60
God the Almighty always says the truth.
End of Surah: Drivers of the Winds (Al-Dhaareyaat). Sent down in Mecca after The Dunes (Al-Ahqaaf) before Overwhelming (Al-Ghaasheyah)
