We have made the heavens with Our own hands and We expanded it. 47 And the earth -- We spread it forth; O excellent Smoothers! 48 And of every thing We have created pairs, that haply ye may remember. 49 Hasten ye then (at once) to Allah: I am from Him a Warner to you, clear and open! 50 And set not up (or worship) any other ilahan (god) along with Allah [Glorified be He (Alone), Exalted above all that they associate as partners with Him]. Verily, I (Muhammad SAW) am a plain warner to you from Him. 51 Even thus no apostle came to those before them but they said: "He is a sorcerer or a mad man." 52 Have they inherited such dealings with the Prophets from their predecessors or are they a rebellious people? 53 So withdraw from them (O Muhammad), for thou art in no wise blameworthy, 54 And remind, for indeed, the reminder benefits the believers. 55 I have only created Jinns and men, that they may serve Me. 56 I do not ask any sustenance from them, nor wish that they give Me food. 57 Surely, Allah is the Provider, the Possessor of Power, the Mighty. 58 The wrong-doers shall receive a portion of the chastisements as their fellows (of yore). So let them not rush Me. 59 So ruin is for disbelievers, from their day – which they are promised. 60
