Are ye the harder to create, or is the heaven that He built? 27 He hath raised the height thereof and perfected it. 28 and darkened its night, and brought forth its forenoon; 29 and the earth-after that He spread it out, 30 and then brought from it its water and pastures. 31 And the mountains He set firm 32 In order to benefit you and your cattle. 33 But when there comes the greatest catastrophe (i.e. the Day of Recompense, etc.), 34 on the Day that man remembers what he strove for 35 And Hell-Fire shall be placed in full view for (all) to see,- 36 then he who transgressed 37 and preferred the present life, 38 most surely his abode shall be Hell. 39 And as for him who dreaded standing before his Lord, and restrained his soul from lust, 40 Then indeed Paradise only is his destination. 41 They ask thee about the Hour,-'When will be its appointed time? 42 In what [position] are you that you should mention it? 43 [seeing that] with thy Sustainer alone rests the beginning and the end [of all knowledge] thereof? 44 Your duty is only to warn him who fears it. 45 The day they see it, it will seem they had stayed in the world but only an evening or its turning into dawn. 46
