And assuredly We delivered the Children of Isra'il from an ignominous torment 30 From Fir'aun (Pharaoh); Verily! He was arrogant and was of the Musrifun (those who transgress beyond bound in spending and other things and commit great sins). 31 And We exalted them over the other people knowingly, 32 And We gave them portents wherein was a clear trial. 33 [Now,] behold, these [people] say indeed: 34 "There is no dying for us but once; and we shall not be raised again. 35 So bring our fathers (back), if you are truthful. 36 Are they better, or the people of Tubba' and those before them whom We destroyed? They were surely sinners. 37 And We did not create the heavens and the earth and what is between them in sport. 38 We did not create them both but with the truth, but most of them do not know. 39 Truly, the Day of Decision is the appointed time for all of them, 40 The Day when no relation will avail a relation at all, nor will they be helped - 41 Except such as receive Allah's Mercy: for He is Exalted in Might, Most Merciful. 42
