Proof (Al-Bayyinah)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
The deniers of truth from among the People of the Book and the polytheists would not desist from disbelief until they received clear evidence -- 1 A Messenger from Allah, reciting purified scriptures 2 in writings wherein are scriptures, absolutely true and unerring. 3 Nor did those who were given the Scripture become divided until after there had come to them clear evidence. 4 They were commanded only to worship God, offering Him sincere devotion, to be sincere in their faith, to pray regularly; and to give alms, for that is the right religion. 5 Lo! those who disbelieve, among the People of the Scripture and the idolaters, will abide in fire of hell. They are the worst of created beings. 6 But those who believe and do good deeds are the best of all creatures. 7 Their reward from their Lord will be the gardens of Eden wherein streams flow and wherein they will live forever. God will be pleased with them and they will be pleased with Him. This (reward) is for those who fear their Lord. 8
