Noah called for help. How blessed was the answer which he received. 75 for We saved him and his household from that awesome calamity, 76 and We made his offspring the only survivors. 77 And We let it remain upon him in the latter: 78 "Peace be upon Noah throughout all the worlds!" 79 Thus do We reward all those who do good. 80 For he was one of our believing Servants. 81 Then We drowned the other (disbelievers and polytheists, etc.). 82 ۞ And Abraham indeed was of his inducement, 83 He turned to his Lord with a sound heart 84 Recall what time he said unto his father and his people: What is it that ye worship? 85 "Is it a falsehood- gods other than Allah- that ye desire? 86 What is then your idea about the Lord of the worlds? 87 Then did he cast a glance at the Stars. 88 Then he said: Surely I am sick (of your worshipping these). 89 So they turned away from him, and departed. 90 Then he turned to their gods, and said, 'What do you eat? 91 What is wrong with you that you do not speak?" 92 He struck them with his right hand. 93 So they (people) advanced towards him, hastening. 94 but he said, "How can you worship things you carve with your own hands, 95 And Allah has created you and what you make. 96 "Build a pyre for him and throw him into the raging fire." 97 (This failing), they then sought a stratagem against him, but We made them the ones most humiliated! 98 And he said: Lo! I am going unto my Lord Who will guide me. 99 My Lord, grant me a righteous (son)' 100 So We gave him tidings of a gentle son. 101 And when he reached with him [the age of] exertion, he said, "O my son, indeed I have seen in a dream that I [must] sacrifice you, so see what you think." He said, "O my father, do as you are commanded. You will find me, if Allah wills, of the steadfast." 102 Then, when they had both surrendered (to Allah), and he had flung him down upon his face, 103 We called to him, "Abraham, 104 thou hast already fulfilled [the purpose of] that dream-vision!" Thus, verily, do We reward the doers of good: 105 This is indeed the manifest trial.' 106 And We ransomed him with a Feat sacrifice. 107 and perpetuated his praise in later generations. 108 "Peace and salutation to Abraham!" 109 Thus, do We reward the righteous ones. 110 Indeed, he was of Our believing servants. 111 And We gave him the glad tidings of Is-haq, a prophet, and of the righteous. 112 and We blessed him and Isaac, and from their offspring are some gooddoers, and others who clearly wronged themselves. 113
