Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful

Hast thou seen him who cries lies to the Doom? 1 It is he who pushes the orphan away, 2 and urges not the feeding of the needy. 3 So woe to those who pray 4 [But] who are heedless of their prayer - 5 Who do (good) to be seen, 6 And withhold things of common use (from others). 7

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
