Verily those who keep away from evil and follow the straight path shall be in the midst of gardens and springs of water. 45 [Having been told], "Enter it in peace, safe [and secure]." 46 We shall remove all hatred from their breasts and make them as brothers reclining on thrones facing one another. 47 No weariness will come upon them, nor will they be sent away from there. 48 ۞ Tell My servants that I alone am the Forgiving, the Merciful One, 49 And that it is My punishment which is the painful punishment. 50 And inform them about the guests of Abraham, 51 When they came to him and said: "Peace," he answered: "Truly we are afraid of you." 52 They said, “Do not fear – we convey to you the glad tidings of a knowledgeable boy.” 53 He said: Bring ye me good tidings (of a son) when old age hath overtaken me? Of what then can ye bring good tidings? 54 They said, "We have, indeed, given you glad tidings in truth; do not therefore despair." 55 He said, "No one despairs of the mercy of his Lord except those who are in error. 56 [Ibrahim (Abraham) again] said: "What then is the business on which you have come, O Messengers?" 57 They said: We have been sent unto a guilty folk, 58 Except the family of Lot; indeed, we will save them all 59 “Except his wife – we have decided that she is of those who will stay behind.” 60
