We have made the heavens with Our own hands and We expanded it. 47 And the earth – We spread it out, and how well have We smoothed it! 48 And of everything We have created pairs that you may be mindful. 49 Therefore flee unto God! I am a clear warner from Him to you. 50 Do not set up another god, along with God. I come from Him to warn you plainly. 51 Thus there did not come to those before them an apostle but they said: A magician or a mad man. 52 Is this the legacy they have transmitted, one to another? Nay, they are themselves a people transgressing beyond bounds! 53 Turn, then, away from them, and thou shalt incur no blame; 54 Do, however, keep exhorting them; for exhortation benefits those endowed with faith. 55 I have not created jinn and mankind except to serve Me. 56 I seek no livelihood from them, nor do I ask that they should feed Me. 57 Verily Allah! He is the Provider, Owner of power, Firm. 58 And verily, for those who do wrong, there is a portion of torment like to the evil portion of torment (which came for) their likes (of old), so let them not ask Me to hasten on! 59 So ruin is for disbelievers, from their day – which they are promised. 60
