Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
The mutual rivalry for piling up (the good things of this world) diverts you (from the more serious things), 1 Till you reach the grave. 2 Nay, in time you will come to understand! 3 Again lo! presently ye shall know. 4 Nay, if you could but understand [it] with an understanding [born] of certainty, 5 you would see the fire of Hell. 6 And again, you shall see it with certainty of sight! 7 Then, on that day, you will be questioned about the bounties (of God). 8
