Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ When heaven is split open, 1 And when the stars have fallen and scattered; 2 And when the seas are burst forth (got dried up); 3 and when the graves are laid open: 4 A soul will know what it hath sent before (it) and what left behind. 5 O man! What has seduced thee from thy Lord Most Beneficent?- 6 Who created you, shaped you, and made you well-proportioned, 7 In whatever Form He wills, does He put thee together. 8 Nay, but ye deny the Judgment. 9 yet there are over you watchers 10 Honourablel scribes. 11 who know of all that you do. 12 The virtuous ones will live in bliss 13 and the wicked shall be in the Blazing Fire. 14 [a fire] which they shall enter on Judgment Day, 15 And will not be able to hide from it. 16 And what do you know – of what sort is the Day of Justice! 17 Again, what will explain to thee what the Day of Judgment is? 18 (It will be) the Day when no soul shall have power (to do) aught for another: For the command, that Day, will be (wholly) with Allah. 19
