The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 who has created and shaped, 2 And Who hath disposed and then guided, 3 It is He who has caused the grass to grow, 4 and thereupon causes it to decay into rust-brown stubble! 5 We shall teach you (the Quran) and you will not forget it 6 Except what Allah pleases, surely He knows the manifest, and what is hidden. 7 We shall facilitate for you the Easy Way. 8 So remind them if reminder is profitable: 9 He who fears will mind, 10 But the wretched one will avoid it - 11 Who will enter the great Fire and made to taste its burning, 12 In which they will then neither die nor live. 13 Surely he will succeed who grows in goodness, 14 and remembers his Sustainer's name, and prays [unto Him]. 15 But you prefer the present life, 16 But the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 This, indeed, was in the ancient Scrolls, 18 Writs of Ibrahim and Musa. 19
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
