No, by the moon! 32 And the night when on the wane, 33 and the morning when it appears, 34 Lo! this is one of the greatest (portents) 35 It is a warning for mankind 36 to whoever of you desires to go forward or lag behind. 37 [On the Day of Judgment,] every human being will be held in pledge for whatever [evil] he has wrought 38 save the Companions of the Right; 39 In gardens they will ask one another 40 About Al-Mujrimun (polytheists, criminals, disbelievers, etc.), (And they will say to them): 41 'What thrusted you into Sakar?' 42 and they shall reply, "We were not among those who prayed; 43 nor did we feed the destitute. 44 We plunged in with the plungers 45 and we cried lies to the Day of Doom, 46 Till death overtook us. 47 So there will not benefit them the intercession of [any] intercessors. 48 What ails them, that they turn away from the Reminder, 49 as though they were frightened wild asses, 50 running away from a lion? 51 Indeed, everyone of them desires to have sheets of revelations unfolded before them -- 52 No! But they do not fear the Hereafter. 53 Nay! it is surely an admonition. 54 Let him then who heeds remember it. 55 And what advice will they heed, except if Allah wills? Only He deserves to be feared, and His only is the greatness of forgiving. 56
