Have you not seen how those who dispute the signs of God are turned away? 69 Those who gave the lie to this Book and all the Books which We had sent with Our Messengers shall soon come to know the Truth 70 When, with (iron) collars and chains around their necks, they will be dragged 71 into boiling water, then, into the Fire they shall be poured. 72 It will then be said to them: “Where are those whom you 73 They will reply, "They have abandoned us. In fact, we had worshipped nothing" Thus does God cause the disbelievers to go astray. 74 (They will be told): “This is because while you were on earth you took delight in untruth and exulted in it. 75 Enter [now] the gates of hell, therein to abide: and how vile an abode for all who are given to false pride!" 76 HENCE, remain thou patient in adversity - for, verily, God's promise always comes true. And whether We show thee [in this world] something of what We hold in store for those [deniers of the truth,] or whether We cause thee to die [ere that retribution takes place - know that, in the end,] it is unto Us that they will be brought back. 77 Indeed We sent many Messengers before you: of them there are some whose account We have narrated to you and there are others whose account We have not narrated to you. It did not lie in any Messenger's power to bring any Sign except with Allah's leave. So when Allah's decree came, the matter was decided with justice, and those steeped in error courted utter loss, then and there. 78
