They ask you about the mountains. Say, "My Lord will scatter them as dust 105 and leave them so smoothly levelled 106 "You will see therein nothing crooked or curved." 107 On that Day, they will follow the Summoner, who is not crooked, their voices hushed before the Merciful, and you shall hear nothing except a murmuring. 108 On that day no one’s intercession shall benefit except his to whom the Most Gracious has given permission and whose word He has liked. (The Holy Prophets and virtuous people will be given the permission to intercede. Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him – will be the first to intercede.) 109 [for] He knows all that lies open before men and all that is hidden from them, whereas they cannot encompass Him with their knowledge. 110 ۞ And [all] faces will be humbled before the Ever-Living, the Sustainer of existence. And he will have failed who carries injustice. 111 But he who works deeds of righteousness, and has faith, will have no fear of harm nor of any curtailment (of what is his due). 112 Thus we have revealed it as a Lecture in Arabic, and have displayed therein certain threats, that peradventure they may keep from evil or that it may cause them to take heed. 113 Highly exalted be Allah, the true King! Do not hasten with the Koran before its revelation has been completed to you, but say: 'Lord, increase me in knowledge' 114 We made a covenant with Adam before you, but he forgot, and We found him lacking in constancy. 115
