Say: "I am only a warner, and there is no other god but God, the one, the omnipotent, 65 the Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is in between them, the Most Mighty, the Most Forgiving.” 66 Say: 'This is a mighty message 67 [how can] you turn away from it?" 68 I had no knowledge of the exalted assembly [of angels] when they were disputing [the creation of Adam]. 69 it has only been revealed to me that I am a plain warner." 70 When thy Lord said to the angels, 'See, I am creating a mortal of a clay. 71 and when I have formed him fully and breathed My spirit into him, prostrate yourselves before him." 72 Thereupon the angels prostrated themselves, all of them together, 73 But not Iblis: he was proud and he was one of the unbelievers. 74 Said (God): "O Iblis, what hindered you from adoring what I created by My own authority? Are you too proud, or too high and mighty?" 75 Said he, 'I am better than he; Thou createdst me of fire, and him Thou createdst of clay.' 76 The Lord said, "Get out of here. You deserve to be stoned! 77 "And My curse shall be on thee till the Day of Judgment." 78 He said: my Lord! respite me till the Day whereon they are raised up. 79 Answered He: "Verily, so [be it:] thou shalt be among those who are granted respite 80 till the Day the time whereof is known [only to Me]." 81 [Iblees] said, "By your might, I will surely mislead them all 82 "Except Your chosen slaves amongst them (faithful, obedient, true believers of Islamic Monotheism)." 83 He said: The truth then is and the truth do I speak: 84 Most certainly will I fill hell with thee and such of them as shall follow thee, all together!" 85 (Muhammad), say, "I do not ask any reward for my preaching to you for I am not a pretender. 86 It is nothing but a reminder to the nations; 87 And most certainly you will come to know about it after a time. 88
