Indeed, We created the human. We know the whisperings of his soul, and are closer to him than the jugular vein. 16 When the two receivers receive, seated on the right and on the left. 17 Not a word does he utter but there is a sentinel by him, ready (to note it). 18 The trance of death will come revealing the truth: that is what you were trying to escape. 19 And the Trumpet shall be blown: that will be the Day whereof Warning (had been given). 20 And there shall come every soul therewith shall be a driver and a witness. 21 (It will be said to the sinners): "Indeed you were heedless of this, now We have removed your covering, and sharp is your sight this Day!" 22 And his comrade shall say, 'This is what I have, made ready.' 23 "Cast each stubborn unbeliever into Hell," (they will be told), 24 Hinderer of good, transgressor, doubter, 25 who has set up another deity beside God: cast him, then, cast him into suffering severe!" 26 ۞ Man's other self' will say: "O our Sustainer! It was not I that led his conscious mind into evil [nay,] but it had gone far astray [of its own accord]! 27 Allah will say: "Dispute not in front of Me, I had already, in advance, sent you the threat. 28 The word will not be changed with Me, and never will I be unjust to the servants." 29
