(Muhammad), recall Our servant Job. When he prayed to his Lord saying, "Satan has afflicted me with hardship and torment," 41 We said, "Stamp your foot! Here is cool water for you to wash in and drink," 42 And We gave him (back) his family, and along with them the like thereof, as a Mercy from Us, and a Reminder for those who understand. 43 "And take in thy hand a little grass, and strike therewith: and break not (thy oath)." Truly We found him full of patience and constancy. How excellent in Our service! ever did he turn (to Us)! 44 Remember also Our servants Abraham, Isaac and Jacob -- men of might they and of vision. 45 Assuredly We purified them with a quality most pure, the remembrance of the Abode, 46 And they are with Us, verily, of the chosen and the best! 47 And remember Ismail and Yasa’a (Elisha) and Zul-Kifl; and they are all excellent. 48 This is a commemoration. Surely for those who take heed for themselves is an excellent place of return -- 49 #NAME? 50 wherein they recline, and wherein they call for fruits abundant, and sweet potions, 51 ۞ with them, they will have pure, modest women of an equal age. 52 This is what you are promised for the Day of Reckoning: 53 (It will be said to them)! Verily, this is Our Provision which will never finish; 54 This is for the virtuous; and indeed for the rebellious is a wretched destination. 55 Hell, which they will [enter to] burn, and wretched is the resting place. 56 This - so let them taste it - is scalding water and [foul] purulence. 57 And other similar torments. 58 This is an army plunging in without consideration along with you; no welcome for them, surely they shall enter fire. 59 They will say, "Nor you! No welcome for you. You, [our leaders], brought this upon us, and wretched is the settlement." 60 They say, “Our Lord! Whoever has brought this calamity upon us – double the punishment of the fire for him!” 61 And they say: What aileth us that we behold not men whom we were wont to count among the wicked? 62 Is it that we mistakenly made fun of them; or have they disappeared from our sight?” 63 Lo! that is very truth: the wrangling of the dwellers in the Fire. 64
