We did not create heaven and earth and all that is between them in vain. That is the opinion of those who deny the truth. Woe betide those who deny the truth, when they are cast into the Fire -- 27 Shall We make those who believe and do good deeds equal to those who spread turmoil in the earth? Or shall We equate the pious with the disobedient? 28 [This is] a blessed Book which We have revealed to you, [O Muhammad], that they might reflect upon its verses and that those of understanding would be reminded. 29 And We gave unto David Solomon; how excellent a servant he was! He was a penitent. 30 When his dressage steeds were presented to him in the evening, 31 He said: verily I have loved the love of earthly good above the remembrance of my Lord until the sun hath disappeared behind the veil. 32 Bring them back unto me; and he set about slashing their legs and necks. 33 And We certainly tried Solomon and placed on his throne a body; then he returned. 34 He said, 'My Lord, forgive me, and give me a kingdom such as may not befall anyone after me; surely Thou art the All-giver.' 35 So we subjugated the wind to his service which carried his merchandise wheresoever he wished; 36 And made the demons subservient to him, all builders and divers. 37 And other demons bound in chains. 38 [We said], "This is Our gift, so grant or withhold without account." 39 In Our eyes he certainly has a high position and the best place to return. 40

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
