AND, INDEED, [O Muhammad,] We did vouchsafe revelation unto Moses [as well]: so be not in doubt of [thy] having met with the same [truth in the revelation vouchsafed to thee]. And [just as] We caused that [earlier revelation] to be a guidance for the children of Israel, 23 And We appointed from among them leaders guiding by Our command, when they endured patiently, and had sure faith in Our signs. 24 Surely your Lord will decide between them about what they were at variance, on the Day of Resurrection. 25 And did they not obtain guidance by the fact that We did destroy many generations before them, so now they walk in their houses? Indeed in this are signs; so do they not heed? 26 Are they not aware that it is We who drive the rain onto dry land devoid of herbage, and thereby bring forth herbage of which their cattle and they themselves do eat? Can they not, then, see [the truth of resurrection]? 27 And they say, “When will this decision take place, if you are truthful?” 28 Say: On the day of judgment the faith of those who (now) disbelieve will not profit them, nor will they be respited. 29 and then leave them alone, and wait [for the truth to unfold as] they, behold, are waiting. 30
