Again (of old) We bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron, 114 and We delivered both of them and their people from the great calamity. 115 And We helped them, so that they were the victors; 116 And We gave them the explicit Scripture, 117 And We guided them on the straight path. 118 and perpetuated their praise in later generations. 119 Peace be with Moses and Aaron. 120 This is how We reward those who do good: 121 truly they were among Our faithful servants. 122 Surely, Elias too was among the Messengers. 123 He told his people, "Why do you not have fear of God? 124 Will ye cry unto Baal and forsake the Best of creators, 125 Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your first forefathers?" 126 But they called him a liar, therefore they shall most surely be brought up. 127 except the sincere servants of God. 128 And We left for him [favorable mention] among later generations: 129 "Peace and salutation to such as Elias!" 130 Even thus do We reward the doers of good. 131 Surely he was one of Our believing servants. 132 Lot was certainly a Messenger. 133 when We delivered him and his people all together, 134 Except an old woman who was among those who lagged behind: 135 Then We destroyed the rest. 136 And indeed, you pass by them in the morning 137 and at night, will you not understand? 138
