The Key (Al-Faatehah)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Hidden Secret (Al-Muddath-thir) before Thorns (Al-Masad)

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate 1

ALL PRAISE BE to Allah, Lord of all the worlds, 2 Most beneficent, ever-merciful, 3 The Only Owner (and the Only Ruling Judge) of the Day of Recompense (i.e. the Day of Resurrection) 4 Thee alone do we worship and of Thee alone do we seek help, 5 Guide us (O Lord) to the path that is straight, 6 The path of those You have blessed, Not of those who have earned Your anger, nor those who have gone astray. 7

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
