The Comet (Al-Taareq)
17 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Town (Al-Balad) before The Moon (Al-Qamar)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
I CALL TO witness the heavens and the night Star -- 1 And have you understood what the nightly arriver is? 2 (It is a nightly radiant star). 3 Over every soul there is a watcher. 4 So let man consider from what he is created. 5 He was created of spurting water 6 which comes out of the loins and ribs. 7 God has certainly power to bring him back (from the dead). 8 The day all secrets are examined 9 Then man will have no power or any helper. 10 I swear by the raingiving heavens, 11 And by the earth which splitteth, 12 It is surely a decisive utterance; 13 and is not to be taken lightly. 14 They (disbelievers) plot every evil plan, 15 and I am devising guile. 16 Therefore grant a delay to the Unbelievers: Give respite to them gently (for awhile). 17
Almighty God's Truth.
End of Surah: The Comet (Al-Taareq). Sent down in Mecca after The Town (Al-Balad) before The Moon (Al-Qamar)

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
