Nooh 2 of 2

Noah said, 'My Lord, they have rebelled against me, and followed him whose wealth and children increase him only in loss, 21 And they conspired an immense conspiracy. 22 "And they have said: 'You shall not leave your gods, nor shall you leave Wadd, nor Suwa', nor Yaghuth, nor Ya'uq, nor Nasr (names of the idols); 23 They have misled many and the unjust will achieve nothing but more error". 24 Because of their sins they were drowned and put into the Fire, and they found not for themselves besides Allah [any] helpers. 25 Noah said: "O Lord, do not leave a single habitation of unbelievers on the earth. 26 "For, if Thou dost leave (any of) them, they will but mislead Thy devotees, and they will breed none but wicked ungrateful ones. 27 My Lord, forgive me and my parents, and whoever enters my house as a believer, and forgive all believers, both men and women, and do not increase the wrong-doers in anything except perdition.” 28

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
