The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 The One Who created, and then made proper. 2 And Who makes (things) according to a measure, then guides (them to their goal), 3 Who bringeth forth the pasturage, 4 then caused it to wither away. 5 We shall now make you read (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), so you will not forget. 6 save what God may will [thee to forget] - for, verily, He [alone] knows all that is open to [man's] perception as well as all that is hidden [from it] 7 and [thus] shall We make easy for thee the path towards [ultimate] ease. 8 Therefore do remind, surely reminding does profit. 9 The admonition will be received by those who fear (Allah): 10 but aloof from it will remain that most hapless wretch 11 [He] who will [enter and] burn in the greatest Fire, 12 Then he will neither die in it, nor live. 13 He who purifies himself, 14 And remembereth the name of his Lord, so prayeth, 15 But you prefer the life of this world, 16 Whereas the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Indeed, this is in the former scriptures, 18 The Scriptures of Ibrahim (Abraham) and Musa (Moses). 19
