The dwellers of the forest also rejected the Messengers. 176 when their brother Shu'ayb said unto them: "Will you not be conscious of God? 177 Surely I am a faithful apostle to you; 178 So fear God and follow me. 179 And I do not ask you any reward for it, my reward is only with the Lord of the worlds; 180 ۞ Give full measure, and be not of those who cause others to lose. 181 And weigh (things) with a right balance, 182 And defraud not people of their things, and commit not corruption on the earth. 183 Fear Him who created you, and the generations of the ancients.' 184 They said: "Thou art only one of those bewitched! 185 thou art naught but a mortal, like us; indeed, we think that thou art one of the liars. 186 But in case you are speaking the truth, then make a segment of the sky to fall upon us." 187 He said, 'My Lord knows very well what you are doing.' 188 They rejected him and then the torment of the gloomy day struck them. It was certainly a great torment. 189 Verily herein is a sign; but most of them are not believers. 190 Your Lord, He is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 191
