Whatever misfortune happens to you, is because on the things your hands have wrought, and for many (of them) He grants forgiveness. 30 You cannot challenge God on earth and you will have no one besides Him as your guardian or helper. 31 And of His Signs are the ships that sail in the sea like mountains. 32 If He willeth He causeth the wind to cease so that they keep still on the back thereof; verily therein are signs for every patient, grateful person. 33 Or He can cause them to perish because of the (evil) which (the men) have earned; but much doth He forgive. 34 Those who dispute Our verses may know that they have no asylum. 35 Whatever you have received is only for usage in the life of this world, and that which is with Allah is much better and more lasting for those who believe and rely upon their Lord. 36 And those who avoid heinous sins and indecencies, and when they are wroth forgive. 37 Those who hearken to their Lord, and establish regular Prayer; who (conduct) their affairs by mutual Consultation; who spend out of what We bestow on them for Sustenance; 38 And those who, when tyranny strikes them, they defend themselves, 39 The recompense for evil will be equivalent to the deed. He who pardons (the evil done to him) and reforms himself, will receive his reward from God. God certainly does not love the unjust. 40 And whosoever harms after he has been harmed there is no blame upon them. 41 blame falls only on those who wrong men and transgress on this earth without justification, such will have a painful punishment, 42 To exercise patience and forgive (the wrong done to one) is the proof of genuine determination. 43
