The Bee (Al-nahl)
128 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Cave (Al-Kahf) before Noah (Noah)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ God's command comes; so seek not to hasten it. Glory be to Him! High be He exalted above that they associate with Him! 1 He sends down the angels with the soul of faith – the divine revelations – towards those among His bondmen He wills that, “There is no worship except for Me, therefore fear Me.” 2 He created the heavens and the earth for a true purpose. He is exalted above anything they associate with Him. 3 He has created man from Nutfah (mixed drops of male and female sexual discharge), then behold, this same (man) becomes an open opponent. 4 And the cattle hath He created, whence ye have warm clothing and uses, and whereof ye eat; 5 And wherein is beauty for you, when ye bring them home, and when ye take them out to pasture. 6 They carry your burdens to lands so distant you could not have reached without much hardship. Indeed your Lord is compassionate and kind. 7 And horses and mules and asses (hath He created) that ye may ride them, and for ornament. And He createth that which ye know not. 8 And upon Allah it rests to show the right way, and there are some deviating (ways); and if He please He would certainly guide you all aright. 9
