In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
Read! In the Name of your Lord, Who has created (all that exists), 1 He created man from a clot of blood. 2 Recite: and your Lord is Most Generous, 3 He Who taught (the use of) the pen,- 4 Taught man that which he knew not. 5 By no means: Verily man exorbitateth. 6 that he sees himself sufficed. 7 Indeed, to your Lord is the return. 8 What do you think? Have you seen he who forbids 9 A bondman when he offers the prayer? 10 What thinkest thou? If he were upon guidance 11 Or had enjoined piety, (it would have been better)? 12 What thinkest thou? If he cries lies, and turns away - 13 Knoweth he not that Allah beholdeth? 14 Indeed, if he does not desist, We will seize him by the forelock, 15 a lying, sinful forelock. 16 Then let him call upon his henchmen! 17 We shall summon the guards of Hell. 18 No, indeed; do not obey him! Prostrate and come nearer (to Allah). ۩ 19
