In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
CONSIDER these [messages,] sent forth in waves 1 and then storming on with a tempest's force, 2 Then by oath of those that lift and carry. 3 Then by those that clearly differentiate the right and wrong. 4 And those that bring down the Reminder 5 to serve as an excuse or a warning. 6 BEHOLD, all that you are told to expect will surely come to pass. 7 Then when the stars lose their lights; 8 And when the sky is riven asunder, 9 when the mountains shall be scattered 10 And when the messengers are (all) appointed a time (to collect);- 11 To which Day has this task been deferred? 12 For the Day of sorting out (the men of Paradise from the men destined for Hell). 13 What will explain to you what the Day of Judgement is? 14 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 15 Did We not destroy the earlier people? 16 We will now cause the later ones to follow them: 17 That is what We shall do to those who are guilty of crime. 18 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 19 Did We not create you from a worthless water (semen, etc.)? 20 which We then placed in a secure repository 21 for an appointed time? 22 Thus have We determined [the nature of man's creation]: and excellent indeed is Our power to determine [what is to be]! 23 Woe, on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth! 24 Have We not made the earth a container 25 for the living and for the dead? 26 And placed therein high mountains and given you to drink sweet water therein? 27 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 28 (It will be said unto them:) Depart unto that (doom) which ye used to deny; 29 Go on towards the threefold shadow 30 "(Which yields) no shade of coolness, and is of no use against the fierce Blaze. 31 which - behold! - will throw up sparks like [burning] logs, 32 So like golden camels." 33 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 34 This is the Day they shall not speak, 35 Nor shall they be permitted so that they might excuse themselves. 36 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 37 This is the Day of Judgement. We have assembled you all together with past generations. 38 If now you have any strategy, use it against Me. 39 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 40

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
