Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
By the chargers panting, 1 Striking sparks of fire (by their hooves), 2 And raiding at dawn 3 And raise the dust in clouds the while, 4 And penetrate forthwith into the midst (of the foe) en masse;- 5 VERILY, towards his Sustainer man is most ungrateful 6 And is himself witness to it, 7 He certainly has a strong love for wealth and riches. 8 ۞ Does he not know that on the day when those in the graves are resurrected 9 And that which is in the breasts (of men) shall be made known. 10 that on that Day their Sustainer [will show that He] has always been fully aware of them? 11
God the Almighty always says the truth.
