The people of Noah [too] gave the lie to [one of God's] message-bearers 105 When their brother Nuh said to them: Will you not guard (against evil)? 106 Verily I am unto you an apostle trusted. 107 be, then, conscious of God, and pay heed unto me! 108 And I do not ask you for it any payment. My payment is only from the Lord of the worlds. 109 So keep your duty to Allah, and obey me. 110 ۞ They said: "Should we place our trust in you when only the condemned follow you?" 111 He said: I have no knowledge of that which they have been Working. 112 My Lord alone can bring them to account, if only you could understand, 113 It is not for me to repel those who choose to believe. 114 “I am not but clearly a Herald of Warning.” 115 'Noah' they replied, 'if you do not desist you shall be of those stoned' 116 He said: "O my Lord! truly my people have rejected me. 117 so give true deliverance between me and them, and deliver me and the believers that are with me. 118 We saved him and those who were with him in a fully laden Ark, 119 and then We caused those who stayed behind to drown. 120 Lo! herein is indeed a portent, yet most of them are not believers. 121 And indeed, your Lord - He is the Exalted in Might, the Merciful. 122
