The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
۞ When the great event comes to pass, 1 there is no denying its coming 2 abasing [some,] exalting [others]! 3 When the earth will tremble, shivering. 4 And the mountains will be powdered to dust. 5 So that they shall be as scattered dust. 6 And ye shall be sorted out into three classes. 7 Those of the right hand -- how (happy) will be those of the right hand! 8 Companions of the Left (O Companions of the Left!) 9 And those who surpassed have indeed excelled. 10 They shall be the nearest to God. 11 They will dwell in the Gardens of Bliss: 12 A multitude of those (foremost) will be from the first generations (who embraced Islam). 13 And a few from the later generations. 14 [They will be seated] on gold-encrusted thrones of happiness, 15 Reclining therein face to face. 16 Youths of never-ending bloom will pass round to them 17 with goblets and ewers, and a cup from a spring 18 neither causing headaches, nor intoxication; 19 And fruit; that they may choose. 20 and with the flesh of any fowl that they may desire. 21 And [for them are] fair women with large, [beautiful] eyes, 22 beautiful as pearls hidden in their shells. 23 as reward for their deeds. 24 They will not hear therein ill speech or commission of sin - 25 All talk will be sound and upright. 26 Those on the Right, how fortunate are those on the Right! 27 They shall recline on high amidst lote trees without thorns 28 Bananatrees, piled 29 and shade extended, 30 By water flowing constantly, 31 and fruit abounding, 32 Neither limited [to season] nor forbidden, 33 And couches raised up. 34 Surely We have made them to grow into a (new) growth, 35 and We made them spotless virgins, 36 Loving companions matched in age, 37 For those of the right hand. 38

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
