Say thou: I am but warner, and there is no god but Allah, the One, the Subduer. 65 the Sustainer of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, the Almighty, the All-Forgiving!" 66 Say: "That (this Quran) is a great news, 67 Whence ye turn away! 68 (Tell them): “I had no knowledge of the High Council when they were disputing. 69 'Only this has been revealed to me: that I am to give warning plainly and publicly." 70 (Remember) When your Lord said to the angels, “I will create a human from clay.” – 71 and when I have formed him fully and breathed My spirit into him, prostrate yourselves before him." 72 Then the angels, all of them, prostrated themselves before Adam 73 Saving Iblis; he was scornful and became one of the disbelievers. 74 (Allah) said: "O Iblis! What prevents thee from prostrating thyself to one whom I have created with my hands? Art thou haughty? Or art thou one of the high (and mighty) ones?" 75 Answered [Iblis]: "I am better than he: Thou hast created me out of fire, whereas him Thou hast created out of clay." 76 He said, “Therefore exit from heaven, for you have been outcast.” (To disrespect the Prophets – peace and blessings be upon them – is blasphemy.) 77 "And verily!, My Curse is on you till the Day of Recompense." 78 He said, "My Lord, then reprieve me until the Day they are resurrected." 79 Allah said: verily, thou art of those respited. 80 "Till the Day of the Time Appointed." 81 [Whereupon Iblis] said: "Then [I swear] by Thy very might: I shall most certainly beguile them all into grievous error 82 [all] save such of them as are truly Thy servants!" 83 Said Allah, “So this is the truth; and I speak only the truth.” – 84 Most certainly will I fill hell with thee and such of them as shall follow thee, all together!" 85 Say (O Muhammad, unto mankind): I ask of you no fee for this, and I am no simulating. 86 It, (the Quran), is nothing but a reminder to you from the Lord of the Universe. 87 And ye will come in time to know the truth thereof. 88
