And We gave Moses the Book; and there was difference regarding it, and but for a word that preceded from thy Lord, it had been decided between them; and they are in doubt of it disquieting. 110 Indeed, your Lord will pay each one of them in full for their deeds. He is aware of the things they do. 111 So tread thou the straight path as thou art commanded, and those who turn (unto Allah) with thee, and transgress not. Lo! He is Seer of what ye do. 112 And lean not on the evildoers, so that the Fire touches you -- you have no protectors apart from God -- and then you will not be helped. 113 And be constant in praying at the beginning and the end of the day, as well as during the early watches of the night: for, verily, good deeds drive away evil deeds: this is a reminder to all who bear [God] in mind. 114 Exercise patience; God does not ignore the reward of those who do good. 115 Why were there not, out of the generations that passed away before you, righteous men who would forbid others from causing corruption on the earth? And if such were there, they were only a few whom We had saved from those generations, or else the wrong-doers kept pursuing the ease and comfort which had been conferred upon them, thus losing themselves in sinfulness. 116 Your Lord would never unjustly destroy communities while their people were trying to reform. 117 And if thy Lord had willed, He verily would have made mankind one nation, yet they cease not differing, 118 excepting those on whom thy Lord has mercy. To that end He created them, and perfectly is fulfilled the word of thy Lord: 'I shall assuredly fill Gehenna with jinn and men all together.' 119 And each [story] We relate to you from the news of the messengers is that by which We make firm your heart. And there has come to you, in this, the truth and an instruction and a reminder for the believers. 120 Say to those who do not believe: "Do what ever ye can: We shall do our part; 121 And wait; surely we are waiting also. 122 And Allah's is the Unseen of the heavens and the earth, and unto Him the whole affair shall be brought back. So worship Him thou and rely on Him; and thy Lord is not negligent of that which ye work. 123
