۞ And Allah hath said: take not two gods; He is only One God so Me alone, Me dread. 51 And to Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and the earth, and to Him is [due] worship constantly. Then is it other than Allah that you fear? 52 And whatever you have of favor - it is from Allah. Then when adversity touches you, to Him you cry for help. 53 yet no sooner does He relieve your distress than some among you set up other partners besides their Lord, 54 So they will deny what We have given them. Then enjoy yourselves, for you are going to know. 55 They set aside a share of that which We have provided them for what they did not know. By Allah, you shall be questioned about your forgeries! 56 And they assign daughters unto Allah! Glorified (and Exalted) be He above all that they associate with Him!. And unto themselves what they desire; 57 When good news of the birth of a female is given to any of them, his face grows dark and inwardly he chokes. 58 He hides himself from the people because of the ill of which he has been informed. Should he keep it in humiliation or bury it in the ground? Unquestionably, evil is what they decide. 59 Those who believe not in the world to come, theirs is the evil likeness; God's is the loftiest likeness; He is the All-mighty, the All-wise. 60
