Q (Qaaf)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
Qaf: By the Glorious Qur'an (Thou art Allah's Messenger). 1 In fact, it seems odd (to the pagans) that a warner from their own people has come to them. The disbelievers have said, "It is very strange 2 "When we are dead and have become dust (shall we be resurrected?) That is a far return." 3 We already know how much of them (of their bodies) the earth will consume. With Us there is a Book that contains all records. 4 In fact they denied the Truth when it came to them, so they are now in a dilemma. 5 So did they not see the sky above them – how We have made it and beautified it, and there are no cracks in it? 6 And the earth have We spread out, and have flung firm hills therein, and have caused of every lovely kind to grow thereon, 7 as a lesson and reminder for every human being who turns to God; 8 And We send down from the cloud water abounding in good, then We cause to grow thereby gardens and the grain that is reaped, 9 And the tall palm-trees having spadices closely set one above another, 10 all this as sustenance for Our servants. And thus We do bring the dead land back to life with water. Such shall be the coming forth (of human beings from the earth). 11 Before them, the nation of Noah, the nation of ArRass belied and so did Thamood 12 The 'Ad, Pharaoh, the brethren of Lut, 13 And the Dwellers of the Woods, and the people of Tubb’a; each one of them denied the Noble Messengers, so My promised punishment proved true. 14 What, were We wearied by the first creation? No, indeed; yet they are in doubt about a new creation. 15
